Monthly Traffic
What do web hosting providers mean by saying ?monthly traffic??
The monthly traffic feature, that’s sometimes also referred to as bandwidth or information transfer, identifies the overall volume of data which can be uploaded to your shared web hosting account and downloaded from it monthly. Your site traffic is generated mostly by website visits - each time someone finds your site, the web pages they see are downloaded from your web hosting server to his / her computer system or smartphone and they're displayed by the browser. What counts towards the website traffic produced is the overall size of these web pages, as a result the more visitors you have for some period of time, the more web site traffic will be generated. In addition to the web site visits, file uploads will also be counted towards the entire monthly transfer this means that whenever you upload web site content or any other files through a file manager or an FTP program, they'll also generate some traffic. The counter resets on the very first day of each and every month and it's not related to the date you have subscribed and the date you've renewed the web hosting plan.

Monthly Traffic in Shared Web Hosting
Our
shared web hosting plans were created with the concept to take care of the site traffic generated by any type of web site that can run in such an account. In case you currently have one or a number of small-scale or medium-sized websites, you will not be limited by the monthly traffic allowance regardless of what content you have - plain text and / or lots of images, for instance. The stats inside the hosting Control Panel provides you with in-depth details about the site traffic generated by each web site along with the amount for your account in general. The amounts are updated live and show both the everyday and the monthly usage, thus you'll know how much information is transferred to and from the web hosting account anytime. The first day of each and every month your counter is reset, but you'll still be able to view the web site traffic stats for the previous months, that will give you an idea how your websites perform.

Monthly Traffic in VPS Servers
The monthly website traffic quota for our
VPS hosting plans is proportionate to all of the other server’s resources. If you aquire a more powerful server, it is more likely that you'll operate a well-known web site or even a number of websites, consequently there will be a lot more visitors. That's why, the greater package you obtain, the higher monthly site traffic allowance you will get. We will contact you whenever you get to 90% of that amount, so that you will have enough time to take some action and either improve the plan or optimize your sites and lower the site traffic that they generate until the counter resets the next month. If you decide to update, this can be done via the billing Control Panel and with no more than a couple of clicks. In addition, you'll be able to view the amount of traffic your server has already generated and the amount that is left until you get to your monthly restriction. This information is available in the VPS administration panel where you're also able to reboot your server and check the use of all the other system resources like HDD space, CPU load or physical memory usage.

Monthly Traffic in Dedicated Servers
The
dedicated web hosting plans that we offer you feature large website traffic allowances that are sufficient for almost any site, even a video streaming portal or a popular online social network. Terabytes of site traffic will be available every month and the administration panel that is included with each and every dedicated server will give you data how much data has been transferred already and what amount is left for the present month. To avoid service interruptions, we will let you know when you reach 90% of the allowance and you'll be able to either reduce the traffic generated by your web sites by optimizing their content, or you can increase the quota for your account. It is extremely unlikely that you will ever need such an improvement, but we decided to leave this option open. The statistics in that panel feature the entire traffic, compared to the statistics from your hosting Control Panel where you will find just the traffic from sites, but not from server-side software downloads & updates.
