Established in 2001, the Dot NAME universal domain name extension is the sole TLD supposed to be for personal sites only. These domain names can include personal or fictional names, aliases and/or other titles people are known by. At the beginning, only 3rd-level registrations were permitted, so if you wanted to book john.doe.name, you had to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was loosened and 2nd-level registrations were also allowed. Already registered third-level domain names remained functional.

You will be able to correct the WHOIS contact information, to park your domain, to edit Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an already purchased domain to our company if you obtain its EPP transfer authorization code from the present domain registrar and we will renew it as soon as the transfer has been done.
